My partner and I have been coming to Tarp's for a few years now, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently delicious, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. The Chicken Adobo is a personal favourite of mine — rich, flavourful, and perfectly cooked every time. If you haven't tried this place yet, you're missing out on something special.

We’ll keep the flavours coming and the atmosphere cozy. See you again soon!
Came here on way over to watch Bradford at FC united The food was so tasty and flavoursome , I had beef my mum had chicken dish. No food was left on the plates I tell you ! Service was good too and they made a nice cuppa of tea. If I’m in the area I will definitely call again .

Love this! Thank you so much for stopping by on your way to the match! We're so glad you and your mum enjoyed the food as clean plates are the best compliment we could ask for 😄 And we're happy to hear the tea hit the spot too. Hope to see you again next time you're in the area and we'll have something tasty waiting!
When I found out there was a Filipino restaurant near Manchester I immediately paid a visit. The vibe is like a typical street food setting inside a shopping centre. I wanted to order beef soup upon seeing the menu on Google but unfortunately they no longer serve it. But still the tapsilog I ordered was tasty as well as the lumpia and pancit.

Thank you so much for paying us a visit and we’re really glad you found us! Sorry we didn’t have the beef soup available the time you went, but we’re so happy you still enjoyed the Tapsilog, Lumpia and the Pancit! Sounds like you picked a solid trio! Hope to see you again soon as we’re always cooking up something delicious (and who knows, the beef soup might make a comeback one day 😉). Maraming salamat!

Wanted to visit IKEA on the weekend, so I looked for any delicious food nearby, and I found this lovely Filipino restaurant. In fact, I was originally attracted by the pork belly, but I also liked the taste of the beef very much, especially the attached fried eggs. It's just right and you can feel the chef's care. It's a restaurant that makes people want to try other dishes again 👍 🏻

Would highly recommend plus you have a indoor market to wonder around after.

The authentic and most delicious Adobo chicken and the Tapsilog Beef were sublime. The service was nothing short of welcoming and can only be compared to being welcomed into someones home.

WOW!!! We absolutely loved Tarps, it was our 1st time trying authentic Filipino food and we were blown away with Tarps. We tried 5 dishes and all were amazing, but the best was the Lechon Kawali, we will be dreaming about that crispy pork belly was the stuff dreams are made off

I saw many videos about how good this place was for food which gave me good expectations for the food.
I went to this place on a chilly Saturday and it was so busy I couldn't sit in I had to order take out. They allowed me to place the order and return to pay. They also allowed me to pay by card as I was a little worried since it was an inside market place. What I ordered was tapsilog , picadillo and chicken Adobo.
Regarding the food I had the chicken adobo first, it was so good I told my partner that I would give it a 9/10 and that I would live off this if I had the opportunity. The reason for the high rating is that when I ate it the chicken was soft and cooked just right and the rice was cooked to perfection. was so good, nice and delicious that I was considering to.
My second one was the picadillo and what it contained was rice and philippino style chilli. When I ate it I felt like I was eating an alternative to chilli con carne which I LOVE. However, only because I had the famous adobo first I told my partner that I would give it an 8/10 only but it was very close.
My final dish was the tapsilog, regarding this my partner told me something very interesting about this dish that it was considered to be an everyday breakfast and I was quite surprised. However, what it contained was a couple stripes of beef with some rice, a sunny side up egg and salad to top it off. When I ate it the food was good but I am a person that doesn't like dry food and when I saw it I thought it was dry but I gave it a chance and it was very good considering it didn't contain any sauce.
Overall experience I would give it a 8/10Cosy small kitchen in the middle of Ashton's market with hand made dishes and prepared just straight after you order. The food was well cooked, fresh and very flavoured, but the best part is the amount, if you are starving, this is the place for a reasonable price.
